• Infants under 36 months may sit on the lap of a paying adult
• Children and seniors must be accompanied by a guardian
• Rail Bike journeys are from Gimyujeong Station to Gangchon Station only
• Guests begin the rail bike experience at Gimyujeong Station, riding 6km to a service station, where you can enjoy free time for around 20 min, then all the guests in the same schedule should take the romantic train to Gangchon Station. Afterwards, take the free shuttle bus at the parking lot of Gangchon Station back to Gimyujeong Station where the activity ends
• Two seater and four seater bikes will depart separately. Usually four seater bikes depart first, then two seater bikes follow. If you book both the four seater bike and two seater bike, you will not be able to ride together back-to-back
• Please note: as this is a very popular activity, please note that some of the schedules may be fully booked. In the event that your initial selected timeslot will not be available, please select an alternate activity schedule at checkout. The local operator will then confirm your final participation time based on the order of the schedules you selected at checkout, which will also be indicated on your voucher
• If you do not arrive at the location on time, the staff will reschedule your experience to the other free time on the day of the experience depending on the appointment. Please follow the arrangements of the on-site staff. However, if there's a full appointment on that day, you may not be able to adjust the experience time and date. In this case, no refunds will be given.

What to Remember

• Being late for your reserved time slot is considered cancellation and no refund is given. 
  However, you can ask the ticket office if they can let you change to a later timing. This is against Gangchon Rail Park’s policy but they will try to help you as much as possible for foreign travelers.

Bad weather

• Rail Park operates the bikes despite rain or snow unless there is a storm or any other dangerous weather condition. In case of heavy rain, Rail Park will still operate and MAY or MAY NOT issue full refund.

• Please redeem tickets with your printed voucher and passport at the ticket office on entry date

How To Get There

• By subway: 4 minute walk from Gimyujeong Station (Gyeongchun Line), Exit 1
• By bus: Take bus No. 1 or No. 67 and get off at Gimyujeong Station

Van Transfer from Seoul and Nami Island/Gapyeong Station

• Seoul (Myeongdong Station Exit 2) to Gangchon Rail Bike (Gimyujeong Station): 7:50am (can drop off at Nami Island at around 9:10am)
• Nami island to Seoul (Myeongdong Station): 6:00pm
• Nami island/Gapyeong station to Gangchon Rail Bike (Gimyujeong Station): 10:00am-5:00pm (every half hour)

Description

The Gangchon Rail Bike is a popular activity on Nami Island, allowing visitors to pedal along the old Gangchon Rail Park track while taking in the scenery of the lovely 318km Bukhangang River. You will be able to experience a piece of history when you travel the same route the Mugunghwa train traveled for a span of 70 years! The Gimyujeong Station course is approximately 8.5km long with the first section (6km) lasting around 50 minutes. After riding the first 6km you will arrive at a transfer station where you will be able to take a bathroom break or pick up a snack from the cafeteria. From there continue on a 20 minute romantic train ride so you are not required peddle! Once you arrive at the Gangchon Station make sure to grab the free shuttle back to where you started.
