The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum - better known as The Guggenheim - is one of the most beautiful locations in New York City. In it you will not only get a chance to admire the fantastic architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright, who completed the building in 1959, but also a growing collection of personal art. The museum is filled with collections of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern and Contemporary Art featuring works by renowned artists such as Édouard Manet, Paul Gauguin, Kazimir Malevich, Pierre Bonnard, Pablo Picasso and many more. You can view the museum's artwork at your own pace and time, or take a guided tour done by the museum's lecturers. If you're lucky, you can attend lectures by artists and critics, watch some shows and film screenings, or just stroll and admire the beautiful architecture of the building. Before you go, do not forget to stop by the museum shop and bring home souvenirs - something to help you remember this beautiful place!
