The sanctuary of truth is wonderful temple right on the beach, North Pattaya. The building is completely made from wood and hand-made carvings. It has been under construction for more than 20 years. The tall of the building is more than 200 meters. The building is full of various characters in Hindu and Buddha legends. Every single day many woodcarvers work here carving out new character. The concept of the sanctuary was that human civilization was comprehended from religious and philosophical art and truths.

The wooden art describes Hindu and Buddhist beliefs and also the belief of Eastern philosophy. The carvings express the story of ancient Indian epics Mahabharata and Ramayana which tell about the battle between good and evil, wisdom and ignorance. The tiger cave temple is located in the top of the hill, and surrounded by mountains area with huge green trees. The local name of this temple that located in Krabi, South Thailand is Wat Tham Sua. This temple is not only being a meditation center, but also a place to study about archaeological and historical field. You need to take 1237 steps stairs to get to the peak of the temple. It is quiet challenging and thrilling. But all efforts are paid of once you get to the top. You will see wonderful scenery from all direction. Soothing thick forest is absolutely breath taking.

Wat Arun Rachawararam is also known by the local as Wat Chaeng. This name means Temple of Dawn, which is named after the Indian God Aruna (God of Dawn). This temple stately located on the Thonburi side (west bank) of the Chao Phraya River. You will see the most stunning view if you visit in the evening when the sun set. From the sea side of the river you will see the glittering monument shining on the water. Wat Arun is considered by the traveler as the most popular temple in Bangkok because of its strategic location and the beauty of the building right next to the river.

The original name of this temple is Wat Rong Khun but better known as White Temple. It is a Buddhist temple and also a place for art exhibit in Chiang Rai. This is considered as the best place to visit in Chiang Rai, Northern town of Thailand. Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat is the local Buddhist artist, who independently using his own money to build this temple. He was dedicating his life for this project. He claimed that the construction will take 90 years to complete. But it sited already, the White Temple is successfully impressing. The temple opens every day from 06.30 am until 06.30 pm and there is no admission fee to enter the temple. If you want to take a good photo you better come early because it will be crowded in afternoon. One thing you should know, you can only take picture from the outside, taking photo inside the temple is not allowed.

Wat Benchamabophit is also known as the Marble Temple, because it was built from marbles that is imported from Italy. It was design by Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong. This temple shows the wonderful and neat traditional Thai architecture. The most stunning architecture is replica of the Sukhothai Period (1238-1438), which is perpetuated in Wat Phrasi Rattana mahathat, Phitsanulok Province. The shape of the chapel is five layered square, while the roof is in yellow and curved. Moreover there are 52 Buddha with different postures sits on the balcony at the back of the chapel. These statues are collected by Prince Damrong Rajanubhab from cities that he visited. The Som Dej Pavilion has complex patterns with impressing decorations.

Wat Pho or Wat Phra Chetuphon is one of most popular Thailand temple in Bangkok. The official name of this temple is Wat Prachetuphon Vimon Mangkararam. It is considered as the largest temple areas in the town. Wat Pho known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha because of its giant reclining Buddha that has 46 meters long and covered by gold leaf. This temple is close to Grand Palace, just ten minute walk away. This place is a perfect place if you want to pamper your body with traditional Thai massage. Wat Pho is famous for the referral school of massage in the country. You can come and visit this place in any day from 08.00 am until 17.00 pm. Besides massage, you will be able to explore the history, medical science, and educational institute. Because of that, What Pho is also known as “the first nation public university”.

Wat Phra Kaew has another name that is Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The construction has finished in 1784. This temple is a home for the most important Buddha statue in Thailand, the Emerald Buddha. This temple belongs to the royal family. So it only opens too public when it is not being used for religious ceremonies by the royal family. The temple area was constructed on the ground of the Grand Palace and it continues to improve by the Thai Kings after King Rama I. The original name of Wat Phra Kaew in Thailand is Wat Phra Rattana Satsadaram or Temple of the Holy Jewel Buddha.
