Operational Hours:

• Closed on Mondays
• High season runs from 1 Apr to 31 Oct, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (there will be no ticket collection past 4:00 pm, and there will be no admission past 4:10 pm)
• Low season runs from 1 Nov to 31 Mar, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (there will be no ticket collection past 3:30 pm, and there will be no admission past 3:40 pm)
• Morning entry begins at 8:30 am

Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum located in downtown Beijing is an Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911). The palace is very crowded with visitors every day and only 80,000 visitors are able to visit it per day.
